We miss our dear Auntie Germaine so much!  Our regular phone conversations, the fun times with her in Victoria, her Christmas letters, her sense of adventure and openness to new ideas, her interest in world affairs, and her sense of humour.   She was truly inspiring.   We loved her and will never forget her.

My thoughts are with Germaine, who will always be in my heart, and with her large family.
I miss her very much.
I will always remember her joie de vivre, her generosity, her unforgettable laughter and of course, the delicious moments we shared in family either in Canada or in France.

Nos pensées et prières vont vers Germaine, notre grande tante et sa famille. Que de bons souvenirs, en France ou au Canada, nous avons avec nos cousins canadiens. Comme l'a écrit notre fils, Pierre : "le véritable tombeau des morts est dans le cœur des vivants".

Germaine loved life.   You could see her with her walker in Victoria walking to her church, then to her bank, then shopping.  She never stopped.  I miss our conversations - she knew so much about our family and loved to tell stories.  One of my favourite moments with her was just before my son Avi and Clotilde's wedding in France.  We spent a few days in Paris together and had so much fun.  She was almost 95 at the  time.  Cheers Germaine - we know you are looking out for us from above.

I have many fond memories of Germaine from the last 7 years - from our trips to see her in Victoria, travelling with her in France, as well as having her here in Leduc for our wedding in 2016. What fun we had when I gave her a ride in my little convertible I e year ago. She was and always will be an incredible influence in my life. 

Misssing you very much Grandma Germaine. 

Our mother was a wonderful lady. We have so many good memories Mom. Love you and miss you. 

Sincere sympathy to the Bourassa family. I remember your  wonderful mom from her days in Radville.  My husband also worked with your dad at the then Empire hotel.  They were such kind and happy people.  

My sincere condolence to Germaine’s family. I remember this sweet and gentle lady from her days in Radville and she  leaves behind many good memories. Rest In Peace.
