Henry Peter Rist

Rist, Henry P, formerly of Kendal, SK and currently of Weyburn, SK died on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy; two incredible sons, Ralph (Dolly) and Dave (Dawn); one beautiful daughter, Jackie (Scott) Kovatch; twelve awesome grandchildren, Chad (Kyla) Chantel (Tim) Otitiju, Holly (Todd) Schaeffer, Amanda (Chad), Ashley (Kyle) Corbett, Seanna, Kara (Michael), Kaitlyn, Brooklyn, Nikita (Justin) Cox, Josh and Noelle (Luke); four amazing and beautiful great grandchildren, Haiylee, Summer, Tayo and Sawyer; brother, Tony; brothers-in-law Jim Ripplinger, Wendal Ripplinger; wonderful sister-in-law, Loretta (Glen) Birnie as well as sometimes goofy, nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 2:00PM from St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Kendal, SK. with Father Aguinaldo Fermo celebrating. A family viewing was held in St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church from 12:00PM to 1:00PM on Wednesday, October, 24, 2012. Interment took place at St. Ignatius Parish Cemetery, Kendal, SK. Donations in memory of Henry will be greatfully accepted and may be made to the Alzheimer Society at 301 – 2550 – 12th Avenue Regina, Saskatchewan, S4P 3X1. Henry was a quiet and gentle man. We thank God for His gift of Henry’s life to us.
