Jane was predeceased by her father and mother, Murray and Margaret (Dykes) Sather.
She will be fondly remembered by several cousins and their families as well as numerous friends.
Jane graduated from the U of S law school in 1980 and spent her 30-year career with the Ministry of Justice as a legislative drafter. She was considered one of the best drafters in Canada and a regular presenter at many legal conferences throughout Canada. Jane received her Queen’s Counsel designation for exemplary public service in 2004.
Jane had many other interests. She was a voracious reader and passionate about music. She was a lifetime supporter of the Regina Symphony and regularly attended the performances. Jane loved to travel and spend summers at her beloved cottage at White Bear Lake.
A Private Family Interment took place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
