Jody Faye Froese

Jody was born on August 13, 1966 at Winkler, Manitoba to Rubin and Ruth Kauenhofen. She grew up in Morden, Manitoba with her loving family, five siblings and her parents. Jody married John Froese on October 21, 1989 in Morden. Jody spent 31 years of her life in Manitoba and 18 years in Weyburn. Most of her life in Weyburn was spent working as an Insurance Broker with the Western Financial Group. Jody enjoyed camping, gardening, drinking her coffee with Bailey’s and she loved the outdoors. She was an active member of Kinsmen and Kinettes from 1999 until 2007. She also volunteered many hours on school committies. Jody was active in her faith community, taught Sunday School and was a member the church board. She loved to travel in the motorhome and also enjoyed such places as Hawaii, Miami and Florida. She was also an avid camper and enjoyed many camping trips to Lake Manitoba. Jody was a friendly, outgoing and strong woman who loved her family and her dogs. She will be missed by many.

Jody will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 27 years, John Froese of Weyburn, SK; son, Regan Froese of Weyburn, SK; son, Cullen Froese of Weyburn, SK; daughter, Jaylene Froese of Weyburn, SK; parents, Ruth and Rubin Kauenhofen; brothers & sisters: Edwin Kauenhofen; Michele (Pete) Theissen, Matthew (Nicole) Kauenhofen, Joseph (Crystal) Kauenhofen & Jonathan Kauenhofen; sister-in-law, Elenor (Dave) Gummer as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Grace United Church with Reverend M. Barnabas officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
