

He will be lovingly remembered by his Wife of 51 years, Roberta (Righetti) Kyrylchuk, and his Daughters: Tammy Kyrylchuk and her children, Sabrina Riddle [(Nick) and their daughter, Natalya], Caylem Kyrylchuk, Landor Kyrylchuk, Saul and Noah Ferguson; Lynne and Rory Bowerin and their children, Jaxson, Brett; Lorretta and Gordon Benning and their children, Cortnie (Wace) Stongeagle, Travis, Aeryk, Seaver Benning; Sylvia and Tyler Goebel and their children, Jyler, Jaycelyn; and his sister Mary Hallick as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
John was predeceased by his infant Daughter Mary; his Parents Roman and Anna Kyrylchuk, his Brothers Paul, Bill, Nick, Mike, and his infant sister Ellen, Sisters Stella Campbell, Joy Janeczko, Elizabeth Franks.
John was born on the family farm north of Tribune July 7, 1933. He was youngest son and second youngest child to Roman and Anna Kyrylchuk. Farming was in his blood and continued that way for the next 88 years. He was an avid member of his community, a past season ticket holder to the Weyburn red wings, a proud grandfather, and friend to many.
The family wishes to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and care staff at Bengough Health Center for all their love and support.
A Funeral Service was held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Father Francis “Prince” Kurisinkal celebrating. For those unable to attend the funeral in person it may still be viewed by logging into “Fletcher Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services” Facebook page. Funeral Lunch & Fellowship followed at Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No 47, Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
A Private Family Interment took place on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Tribune, Saskatchewan. Pallbearers were Landor, Jyler, Travis, Jaxson, Brett, Aeryk, Caylem, Seaver. Honourary Pallbearers were Sabrina, Jaycelyn, Saul, Noah and Natalya.
