Kelly was born March 31, 1960, at the Weyburn Hospital, the first child of Raymond and Jessie Neville. The nurse that helped deliver her also worked with Kelly 23 years later at the same hospital.
Kelly had an idyllic upbringing as she would comment how her summers were spent with her friends at the pool, playing on Maple Drive or at White Bear Lake where her brother Neal was always around to keep things lively. Relationships were important to Kelly and she held her friends very dear, most for her entire life. One so special to her; Monica Kohlenberg (Weir) was there for her literally from the crib to her too soon death. This will be forever remembered and cherished.
Kelly married Charles Eddy October 15, 1983 which was soon after she graduated with her nursing degree from the University of Saskatchewan. They quickly proceeded to add two children, Reuben Eddy and Briana Hale to the family.
Kelly's passions besides God, family and friends were nursing and animals which by all testimonies she excelled at. She was in health care for 33 years; the last few as head of Patient Family Centred Care for the Sun Country Health Region. Kelly was with the Humane Society for 19 years all of those intensely involved either as a board member, Vice President and eventually President.
She was the Church Clerk for the local Seventh-Day Adventist Church and was again involved in helping the young people develop their relationship with the Lord.
As a family they traveled North America camping every summer and when the children left she especially like to visit the white sandy beaches of the Caribbean. One special event that would last a week for 8 summers and 800 miles was the North West Mounted Police trail ride. She was always looking for adventure.
Sadly Kelly died too young as she still had a passion for living. With two grandchildren and one on the way her body gave out. We now await Christ's return so we can again be reunited with her and experience the most unimaginable adventure which is the new heavens and the new earth with Jesus Christ her Lord.
Kelly will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Charles Eddy; her son, Reuben Eddy; her daughter, Briana (Willie) Hale and their children Autumn and Milo; her brother, Neal (Lorelei) Neville and their children Tara and Keala.
She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Jessie Neville.
A Memorial Service for Kelly was held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015at 12:30 pm from the Free Methodist Church, Weyburn, SK, with Pastor Troy Guderyan officiating. Immediately following the service, all in attendance were invited to join the family for a time of fellowship and remembrance at McKenna Hall. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Donations in Kelly’s name may be made to The Weyburn Humane Society or The Seventh Day Adventist Church Disaster and Famine Relief.
