Matt was predeceased by his parents, John Brunen & Delphina Nix; sisters, Rose Brunen & Caroline Evans; nieces, Cheryl Evans & Allison Stomp; nephews, Robert Evans & James Stomp and sister-in-law, Mona Brunen.
Matt will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Jerome Brunen; brother, Andrew (Delores) Brunen; sister, Suzanne (Glen) Stomp; sister, Agnes (Rick) Rice; brother, Hubert Brunen as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, cousins, relatives, friends and his special friend, Karen Boland.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Matt may be made to the Southern Prairie Railway at Ogema,
Deep South Museum at Ogema or Souris Valley Museum at Midale.
