Ronald Charles Sanheim, born February 22, 1946 and passed away peacefully on December 26, 2019 at the age of 73 years. Ronald was predeceased his parents, Joe & Katherine Sanheim; brother, Albert Sanheim and brother in law, Delmer Downing. Ronald was born to Joseph and Katherine at Osage, Saskatchewan and raised on the farm north of Osage with his brother, Albert and sister, Linda. Ronald attended Neal Country School and Osage School after which he began a career as an auto body technician and worked in Weyburn for a number of years. Ronald married Myrna Downing on February 6, 1976 and they moved to Fillmore where they opened and operated Ron’s Auto Body. At about the same time, Ron assumed the family farm. He continued to operate the body shop until 1995 and farmed until 2005. Ron began doing woodwork in his retirement, selling his works at local craft shows. In 2008, they purchased a cabin at Good Bird’s Point at Carlyle Lake and enjoyed summer life and making new friends. Ronald is lovingly remembered by his wife, Myrna Sanheim of Fillmore, SK; sister, Linda Sanheim; sisters in law, Doreen Sanheim, Norma (Norman) Dunsmore, Darlene Morin and Reta Downing as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Private Family Graveside Service and Interment was held at Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, Saskatchewan with Reverend Allan Gairns officiating. A Celebration of Ron’s Life took place Friday, January 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fillmore Memorial Hall, Fillmore, Saskatchewan.

Donations in memory of Ron may be made to the Fillmore Health Centre or the Fillmore Ambulance.
