I first met Bill when he came to Thompson Rig 2 looking for a job. I hired him immediately! Bill rough necked and worked motors for about 4 years. We had many good times working together on rigs. We became life long friends sharing many stories and good times!

Hugs to you B, & all the family. Rough & tough but with a heart as big as the moon. Ready to step up & help you fight a fight if you were wronged! And such a tease to the kids! He loved to joke around and make people laugh! That's the Bill I knew & loved!

“Coffee row” at Weyburn Inn coffee shop....first job, a young teenager.... When I first met Bill and wouldn’t tell him my name - I became known as Beulah! The “gents” that gathered for their daily coffee kept me red-faced and chuckling! Bill had a one of a kind sense of humour that will be missed by those who knew him. My condolences to you Betty Lou - hold your memories close.
