William Thomas Soper was born Feb. 5, 1942 in Denver, Colorado, the third of four children born to Frank and Roberta Soper. Bill was 3 ½ months premature, which caused him to have special needs but that did not slow him down much.
He attended Denver Public Schools, graduating with a high school equivalent education and continued at the Emily Griffith Opportunity School. There he learned skill sets to enabled him to have full time employment through his adult years as a restaurant worker. He worked at The Denver Tea House and later at Patsy’s Inn.
Bill lived independently in his condo just blocks from his brother John where he often visited.
When he was no longer able to stay alone, he lived with his caregiver Kathie for twenty years. Because of her care and companionship, Bill continued to enjoy life into his senior years
Bill passed away on August 19, 2019 at the age of 77.
