Adolph proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After returning home, he pursued a career as an electrician, working for the railroad and various other companies. He later followed his true passion for carpentry and started his own woodworking business.
Throughout his life, Adolph enjoyed many hobbies and interests, including antique cars, stamp collecting, woodworking, and more. Above all, Adolph was a loving family man who devoted himself to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Adolph was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Patricia Greenmyer; his daughter, Deborah Garrison; his sister, Helen “Denie” Himschoot; and his brother, Arthur Greenmyer.
He is survived by his sister, Carol Greenmyer Norberg; his three children, Terri Greenmyer Griffice, Daniel Greenmyer, and Stacey Greenmyer Anderson; and his grandchildren, Ashley Griffice, Kendra Anderson, Jonathan Anderson, RayAnne Mebane (Daniel), and Raylene Anderson Trejo (Jayce).
Adolph was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren: Isaiah Anderson, Kendrick Mebane, Alexander Anderson, Zuri Mebane, Matthew Anderson, Kenyon Anderson, Kazlyn Anderson, Dominic Trejo, and Kollin Anderson.
Adolph will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his many talents, and the life he built over his 92 years. His memory will live on through the family he loved so dearly.
Funeral services will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery. A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m.
