Aggie was born September 21, 1934 in Marquette, MI. At the age of 18, she met and married Richard Baker and moved to his home town of Denver, CO. Her parents soon followed and made Colorado their home. There, they raised 4 children and several grandchildren.
Many years later in 1986, Aggie married Larry Morries and welcomed even more grandchildren through the years.
Aggie was a retired administrator and medical business manager. In her earlier years, she looked forward to the family games of canasta and visiting her mother’s cabin in the mountains of Colorado. Camping and fishing had always been a love of hers, she could sit for hours at a lake never catch a thing and still enjoy herself.
She was an incredibly warm, calm and loving woman. She always made you feel good about your day or yourself. She was very patient, especially with her four children.
Aggie had an adventurous and young spirit her whole life. After zip lining for her 80th birthday, she knew no limits! She loved to travel, visiting several different countries and enjoyed traveling throughout the states.
In her recent years she enjoyed bird watching, football and learning new things on an iPad. COVID slowed her down a little, but she always had a positive and spunky attitude.
She will be dearly missed by many and thoughtfully remembered by all those she touched.
She was from a big family and went on to create her own, with 36 descendants to date and still counting. She started a great family legacy.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Morries; her children; LaLani Clausen (Jim), Lee Baker (Kathy) and Laurie Baker; grandchildren; Tracy Thibodeau, James Clausen, Jason Clausen, Sara Mahaffey, Heather Yeckley, Sean Baker, Missy Kaufman, Jessica Cordero, Nicole Dingle and 21 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her step-children; Britt and Pat Morries; her sisters Joan Hiatt & Sandy Girard; and her brother, Gary LaJeunesse.
She was preceded in death by her son Lynn Baker, grandson Adam Baker, brother Larry LaJeunesse, mother Vernice LaJeunesse and father Lawerence LaJeunesse
