Alan Fahrenbruch, 81, of Arvada, Colorado passed away surrounded by his children on September 10th, 2026 after a courageous ten year fight with cancer. Alan is preceded in death by his parents, Lydia (Blehm) Fahrenbruch and Emmanuel Fahrenbruch, and his wife, Pamela (Boston) Fahrenbruch. Alan is survived by sons Gary Fahrenbruch, James Fahrenbruch, and daughter Tamara (Fahrenbruch) Osborne, nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Alan Edwin Fahrenbruch was born on November 12th, 1944 in Denver, Colorado to Emmanuel and Lydia Fahrenbruch. Alan attended North High School in Denver, where he courted his future wife Pamela Boston. Alan and Pam married on February 28th, 1965. While Alan was building and raising his family, he attended and graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor's degree in petroleum and electrical engineering. Alan worked for Schlumberger and AT&T/Qwest before retiring.
Alan's favorite things in life were his family (especially his grandchildren), friends, the Denver Broncos, travelling, and the Colorado outdoors. The family has many fond memories of times spent at critter junction, and driving from New Mexico and Texas for Bronco home games in the 1970's. Alan will be remembered as a loving family man, his resilience and strength during his battle with cancer and loss of his wife. Above all, Alan will serve as an example of how to handle whatever life throws at you with strength, love, and grace.
A memorial service celebrating Alan's life will be held Friday, Oct. 23rd at 11:00 a.m.in the Crown Hill Olinger Chapel located within Crown Hill Cemetery, 29th & Wadsworth Blvd. Everyone is strongly encouraged to wear your finest Denver Broncos gear!
