Einertson. She passed from this life into eternal life on December 17, 2020 at her home of 65 years in
Arvada, Colorado. She was 90 years old.
Alberta married Glen A. Ludwig on December 5, 1947 in Limon. They had three children, Steve, Bob and
Carolyn and made their home in Arvada. Glen passed away February 19, 1981. Alberta married her
second husband, Carlos Andersen, November 29, 2002. They were married until his death January 9,
2019.
Alberta worked thirty years for Jefferson County School Food Service before retiring in 1991.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Glen and Carlos, her parents and her sister, Helen Knutson.
Alberta is survived by her three children, Steve (Sharron), Bob (Cindy), Carolyn (Scott); a sister Lois (Jim)
Stone; 4 grandchildren, Lonnie (Courtney), Stacy (Byron), Aaron (Mandy) and Brandi and 8 greatgrandchildren.
Alberta was a loving, caring and strong woman who will be remembered for her devotion to her family,
her cooking and her gentle, quiet spirit.
Private graveside services will be held December 31, 2020 with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at
a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Peace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
Alberta was a founding member of Peace Lutheran Church 65 years ago (5675 Field St., Arvada, CO
80002).
