OBITUARY
Alice Jeannette Hood
November 18, 1936 – July 31, 2022

IN THE CARE OF
Olinger Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery - Crown Hill
Alice passed away at the Collier Hospice Center in Wheat Ridge Co after a long battle with cancer.
She is survived by her children Barbara Beverly, Robert Pinckard and Susan (Pinckard) Bowler and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roy "Ed" Hood
Alice was born in Stoneham Co to Nelta (Zuhlke) and Ervin Clark. Eventually the family moved to the Golden/Wheat Ridge area. She was married 3 times - Thomas Beverly, Joseph Pinckard and Roy "Ed" Hood. She graduated from Barnes Business College and held many jobs including at Jolly Rancher Candies in Wheat Ridge and the Coors Brewery in Golden. She retired from Coors after a very successful career in the Sales/Distributing department. After her retirement she continued to work as a Visiting Angel.
She was a loving Mom and Grand Mother and we will miss her sense of humor and generosity to her family and friends.
She lived in Lakewood at the West Haven Apartments for the last 5 years where she made many friends. Before that, was a longtime Arvada resident. She and Ed were able to build their dream home in Conifer Colorado and lived there for many years prior to moving back "to town" to be closer to her mother Nelta.
Many thanks to the Collier Hospice Center staff and also her caregivers: Lindsey, Pamela, Lynn, Kaylene and Kim without whom we would have been lost. There will be no services per her request. She will be interred next to her husband in the gardens of Crown Hill Cemetery.
