Alison was born March 17, 1985, the 5th of 6 children. Being a St. Patrick’s Day baby she had an Irish spirit and always loved celebrating her birthday. She grew up in Lakewood, Colorado, becoming a gifted barrel racer at a young age with her cherished horse Rusty, and launching her lifelong love of animals. After high school, her adventurous spirit led her across the country to attend Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. Upon graduating in 2008 she settled in South Carolina for a few years before returning to Colorado with her four rescued dogs. Alison continued to rescue animals and rehome them to her siblings. She eventually found her calling in working with the elderly, eager to share her compassionate nature with others.
Though she hated to fly, Alison loved to travel and would make friends and capture hearts wherever she went. Thoughtful and witty with an infectious laugh and a playful sense of humor, she loved making others happy and was adored by her nieces and nephews. Her siblings were constantly envious of her impeccable organization and her flair for fashion, art, and decorating. Her gentle yet vibrant soul will be forever missed.
Alison leaves behind her beloved parents, Jan and Bill Hart; five siblings, Will, Emily (Dominic), Britany (Travis), Greg (Jodi), and Meredith (Vitaliy); five nieces and nephews, George, Gala, Milo, Kinley, and Leni; three dogs; and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Rest easy, our sweet Alison, and please watch over us.
