Maria Amparo (Rodriguez) Marquez "Chica" was born October 10, 1937 in Guanajuato Mexico. She moved to Colorado in 1954 where she led a very fulfilling, eventful life, full of love, until July 1, 2026 When she entered heaven and was reunited with her husband and the love of her life Arturo Marquez who preceded her in death May 30th 1978.
She is survived by her children Lucy Marquez and Joe (Jeanette) Marquez; Her grandchildren Vanessa (Mandi) Sanchez, Nicole (Jesse) Espinoza, Kimberly Espinoza, Anthony Marquez, Dominic (Kassandra) Marquez and Michael (Justice) Marquez. Her great-grandchildren Jovonni, Monet, Ignacio, Gianna, Lyla Gene, Aiyanna, Genevieve, Jordan, Elias, Josie and Elena Amparo (d 2025) and her numerous nieces, nephews, friends and friends that were family who will continue to cherish her memory and honor her legacy.
