He is survived by his loving family; his wife Aune G. Olson, son David (Tammie) Olson, son Tim (Christy) Olson, daughter Diane (Kevin) Arends, and a son Ron (Darcy) Olson, brother Jim (Margaret) Olson, grandchildren; Cory Olson, Alena Olson, Heidi Olson, Dr. Brenda Olson, Alan Arends, Andrew Arends, Stephanie Olson, and Jessica Olson, also 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Andrew J. and Ella A. Olson, brothers; Dick Olson and Bill Lund, sisters; Gladys Blatchford, and Marilyn Fellows and a great granddaughter Kenna Indahl.
A memorial gathering will be held Thursday evening, September 19, 2013 from 4pm to 7pm at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013,10am in the Pavilion of Reflection located on the grounds of Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
