

In 1960, he met and married Minerva Soria. They were married for 10 years before her passing. He met the love of his life and best friend, Charmaine Schleining, shortly after and shared his life with her until his passing.
Andy was raised and educated in Montana and attained his Associates degree before starting his own business, A-1 Construction. He was a successful construction contractor for 50 years. His greatest accomplishment is his family, which was also his greatest pastime. He enjoyed family bbq’s, the outdoors, sports, doing puzzles with loved ones, gambling, movies, old time television shows, music and dancing.
Andy is survived by his companion, Charmaine Ortiz; seven children: Margaret, Marsha, Mary (Kenny), Michele (K.C.), Andy (Emily), Christina (David) and Lonnie; eleven grand-children: Sean, Billy (Brandy), Corina, AJ, Christian, Jessica, Seth, Caleb, Cody, Alisha, and Donny; three siblings: Laura, Mae, and Marty and numerous other extended family members and close friends.
A service will be held at noon on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery with committal immediately following.
