Annette Irene Smith, age 101, passed away July 1, 2016 in Lakewood, Colorado. Irene was born May 18, 1915 in Rocky Ford, Colorado. Irene was a longtime member of the Boulder Elks Lodge and the Lakewood United Church of Christ. She is survived by her children: Lois Rittenhouse, Layne Burke and Arleigh Burke; grandchildren: Kathy Rittenhouse Visser, Janel Ritenhouse Opeka, Jonathan Burke, Jennifer Burke, Christopher Mustain and Nancy Guerrero and great grandchildren: Jordan Visser, Skylar Visser and Henrey Mustain. Irene was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Ray Edwin Burke, second husband Edwin L. Smith and daughter Vivian Mustain. Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2016 from 5-7:00 pm at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 12:00 pm in the Olinger Crown Hill Chapel of Peace.
