

Ardetta Anne Paul, 90, of Denver, Colorado, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at her home from natural causes.
Ardetta was born June 29, 1936 in Denver, Colorado to Richard Sheldon Paylor and Mary Ann Paylor. She was blessed with two brothers, Archie and Richard, as well as many close friends including Harold and Jill Cameron from England, High School friend Velma Munson from Denver, and her two sons Kyle and Eric; Friends Nelson and Joyce Hinds from Denver, and their son Grant; Jigsaw partner and close friend Charlotte Overbury and her daughter Corah, also from Denver; All of her many friends from Bunko and Hope Church in Denver.
Ardetta married Billie Paul on November 29, 1954 in Denver, Colorado. She worked at F. W. Woolworth in many of the departments and also worked with her mother Mary Paylor. She did childcare for two children, now wonderful adults Corah and Grant. Ardetta also helped in the nursery in the church, and she was also a greeter with Velma. She enjoyed going to Red Hats Society, Sunday School, Church, Bible Studies and watching her favorite shows on TV. When she retired, she enjoyed traveling with the group from church, playing Bunko, taking care of the birthday cards to be sent out and the gifts to be handed out all on behalf of the church.
She lived her entire life in Denver, Colorado. A short time after her marriage, they purchased their first home on Garfield Street where she lived for 62 years, and was always very focused on her family.
Ardetta is survived by Pamela (Rick) Morgan, daughter; Thomas (Pam) Paul, son; Linda (Paul) Gumper, daughter; Stephen (Shannon Clement) Brockmeier, grandson; Craig (Amanda) Morgan, grandson; William (Tobbie) Morgan, grandson; Brandon (Barb) Paul, Aaron Brockmeier, great-grandson; Matthew (Aspen) Morgan, great-grandson; Keiara (Zachery) Munoz, great-granddaughter; Ashley Weise-Elsom; great-granddaughter; Ariana Mae Paul; great-grandson; Dominick Morgan, great-grandson; Greyson Martinez, Bentley Holifield and Noah Holifield, great-great-grandsons; Archie Paylor and Richard “Dickie” (Cheri) Paylor, brothers; Elmer Elby, brother-in-law.
She is predeceased by her husband Billie Paul, and parents Richard and Mary Paylor.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, September 10th, 2026, at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, from 2:00-6:00 PM at Serenity Pointe Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 11th, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Serenity Pointe Chapel. Graveside Services to follow.
