Arlene Schwartz, was born August 25, 1936 and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She attended Bellevue School of Nursing in Manhattan. Arlene graduated in Fall, 1957as a R.N. and commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps where she served five years in the U.S and Europe. She married Peter Dragalin in 1961. He preceded her in death in 1996. Arlene received a B.S.N in nursing from Metro State College of Denver in 1973 and retired from nursing in 1993. She is survived by three sons; Frederic of Rutland, VT, Nathan of Centennial, CO and Peter, Jr. of Stratford CT, in addition two grandchildren, Sally and Jeffrey. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery with full VA Service.
