I knew and loved all the Bishops in the 1960's in Arvada, CO.   I dated Paula, and was good friends with Pauline and Paulette.  Mary and Art were kinda my "adopted" parents.  I worshipped both of them.  Mary was so sweet, and Art was  the coolest guy ever !!  
A truly great American family.  
Rest in Peace, Art.  You did everything RIGHT.

I am so sorry to heat that Art has died.  Mike & I enjoyed our evenings with the two of you.  We loved seeing and hearing about his latest hot rod project.  He was a distinguished gentleman that made everyone around him feel special.

At 18, I had the opportunity to work with Art at the Data Center for Western Electric in Aurora, CO. Art was always there to mentor and guide me. I truly appreciated his guidance and support. I really enjoyed seeing him recently at Las Cuevas for lunch. My thoughts and prayers are with Art and his family.

I was fortunate to have worked with Art at Western Electric/AT&T. He was a kind and thoughtful person.  Art will be missed by all people having had the pleasure of knowing him.  My thoughts are with his family.

Art was a true friend.  He taught me more at Western Electric than anyone.  He and I took long walks together and shared much.  I owe him my career at WECO and AT&T.  I will miss him very much.

I worked with Art at Western Electric and AT&T.  He was a wonderful man.  I remeber him always as helping people and talking about his family.  My thoughts our with your family at this time.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Bishop at a soccer game.  We were there to watch his great grandson Harris McCulloch.  Mr Bishop was such a nice man and it was so obvious the love he had for his grand daughter Shannon and his great grandson Harris while watching the game. I feel honored to have had the chance to meet him and be around him even for the short time that it was.  Rest in peace Mr. Bishop.  You are loved and will be missed greatly.

My thoughts are with the Bishop family.  I grew up with his daughter Michelle.  Michelle's father was a very special man.  I have many fond memories of Mr. Bishop.  He was a kind, funny, compassionate and a great father!  He has an amazing family that will miss him deeply.  

I feel very fortunate to have had his daughter as a special friend and to have had him in our lives all those years!

With the passing of Art I have lost a great friend. It was always a pleasure working with him at Western Electric and AT&T. Art was a gentleman in every sense of the word and will be sadly missed.

Art was always a very pleasant and friendly man to work with at WE/AT&T.  He will be greatly missed.

When Lynne and the girls can't find me, they always know where to look....Hanging out with you having a beer "telling some lies" as you liked to say. It would normally start with the two of us but end up with all six of us sitting around enjoying life, "telling lies". You will never know what both of you mean to our family.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Oh, we will miss Art.  He was one of the nicest and honest people I have ever had the wonderful pleasure of knowing.

I worked with Art at AT&T, and we were very good friends with the Bishops.  I especially remember him and his hotrod, built from the ground up.  He has been in my thoughts throughout all these years, and I will miss knowing that he is still there.  Peace be with Mary, his brother Len, and all of his family.  I regret that I can't be at the services, but I can offer my prayers and hope he is at peace.

I'm going to miss my grandpa. Papa was so very loved. Life will never be the same. I am comforted to know he is in heaven with God. I am still so devastated. My prayers are with my whole family. Prayers are appreciated... At last he not suffering any more. This is just a very hard time right now. Thank you to all those who are praying for our family.

Boy are we going to miss your smile, humor, and your friendship the most. You were an inspiration to all of us. I learned so much from you in hot rodding, friendships and life. Rest in Pease my friend.
