God bless your family you have left behind to go on with your memories, when they want to smile, laugh and even cry.  I knew you many years Mr. Emerson, you were truly a good guy.  You took damn good care of my friend Rose, whom I love and miss and hope knows I care.  Y'all raised a beautiful baby girl together and I know she is well prepared for whatever this world tries to throw at her because I know you taught her well, along with your other babies I am sure, I can tell.  You where no nosense but also funny as hell, so I pray you are resting in peace my friend, because your life's work, you have done well. My name is Noah Webb and I served with Art in Vietnam 1967-68. I went on the Denver fire department in 1970 and lost contact with Art. Over the years I have tried to find out where he was to no avail. With modern technology and Facebook and such I tried again and was totally supprised to find this listing in Olingers Iam I am truly sorry for your loss. I wish I had tried sooner and more often too try to get in touch. Again, I am truely sorry to learn of his passing.He will be missed.

To Art, a man who served his country with honor. I thank you for that. You left behind a fine family who misses you greatly, and friends who will never forget you. Your legacy is your wife and children, all of them inspired by your caring love and wisdom. We are all better people because you were here.

Arthur today has been a year of being without you , and my life  is in Gods hands and that is what I choose, without his Hand to guide me here on earth  no doubt my way I would  loose.  For when one has a happy heart and counts his blessings too there bound to rise above the storm and feel his strength renew and that will take me time and I know that to, when life is tough and even mean and we feel we can not cope I am thankful that God sends friends and family along to give us love and hope. I have faith that God has you in his keeping and I will always have YOU in my HEART.  Thank you Arthur for sharing YOU and thank you God for the time that you have given me with My husband Arthur on this earth .

Today is the New year 2016 And I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new I thought about you yesterday and the day before that to, I think of you in silence and I often speak your name.  All I have are your pictures and there all in frames and your memory I will never depart  And I keep my favorite picture of you in a special frame but most of all your memory is my keepsake with which I will never part and God has you now in his keeping and I will always have you in my heart. I always measured our lifetime in blessings and you were truly a blessing from God . Arthur Emerson. I had been searching the net looking for you or a way to contact you to no avail. Just the other day I typed your name and discovered that you, my friend, had made the voyage home. I am so sorry that I did not get the chance to see you or even speak to you. You will be missed. I will always remember you as you were in 1987 when I left Denver.  I'm not sure if Rose will remember me. I was the bartender at A Touch of Class.

Rosie, I am so sorry for your loss.  Art was a special man and a really good friend to me.  He will be missed by many.  I will never forget all the help he gave me at Metal Goods and the Saturdays he let me come in to work while he scrubbed and waxed the floors.  Our conversations always ended in laughter. His memories are precious, hold them near and dear to your heart.  Just knowing him is a special memory for me.

It's with heavy emotions that I write this note. Art has been a mainstay at Harpel Oil for so many years, it's difficult to remember a time without him.  He was one of a kind, and will always be thought of with the fondest of recollections.  In particular, I will always recall Art as being especially considerate of my personal welfare and well being.  He was an exceptionally good person, and my life has been enriched by knowing him.

My most sincere thoughts of comfort to you and your family at this sad and difficult time. Your sorrow is shared by everyone who knew Art.

I'm currently out of town, but certainly I will be at the ceremony in spirit.

We are very sorry for your loss. Artie was a great guy. Our hearts go out to you and your family. I had the pleasure of working with Art at Diversified. He was a very hard worker and would always go out of his way to help where he could.  He was a very kind and caring person with a huge heart.  He could  make you smile no matter what the situation. I will always remember how he used to call me 'Miss Jennifer'.  He was one of a kind for sure.  My husband Chris remembers him as being a great guy and being very down to earth.  He truly will be missed. we will never forget you Artie!!  RIP Artie!!

Wow, the more I think about the memories I have of Art the more I realize how long he has been a big part of my childhood and adult life. I have know Art for almost my entire life and he has always been a very loyal friend to my family. Art was one of the hardest working people I have ever known and he was always willing to assist in what he called a little "OJT" (On the job training.) My most favorite memory of Art was a day that we had to pick up a Fire truck in Windsor together and he was riding shotgun while I was driving. He accidently put his foot on the siren when we were driving down the highway and the look on his face when he figured out what he had done was priceless. It is a day I will not forget along with many others. I'm really happy that I got the pleasure of knowing Art and his family. My condolences go out to Rose, Vanessa and the rest of the family. Rosie, I cannot begin to tell you how much Art meant to me and my family. He was truly a "Class-Act" gentleman. There was nothing he would not do to help our family. He was truly was our ROCK to lean on after Dad passed away. 

To his daughters, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am for the loss of your "Daddy". I know he loved you girls with all of his heart and soul. Have  comfort in knowing, that he is still here for you ladies... Closer now, than ever. He is just a prayer away. You truly have an angel in heaven looking over you!
