Barbara Carlene Wilson was born January 20, 1929 to Franklin C. Wilson and Margaret M. Walker in Denver Colorado. She grew up in the City Park neighborhood of Denver. She graduated from Cathedral High School in 1946 and married Robert E. Brady on October 16, 1947. She was a mother of 9 children which kept her busy for many years. Mom wanted her children well educated and most went to parochial grade schools. All kids made it all the way through high school, and two graduated from a four year college. When the bulk of the child rising was done, she loved to travel. She likes the Mexican Riviera as in her photo from Mazatlán in 1997, a fiftieth anniversary trip. She went on many cruises with her husband and often kids, some as simple as the Western Caribbean and one as complicated as traversing the Panama Canal and visiting down the west coast of South America. Mom always kept the family finances together. She also liked to have a dog as a pet from Kazan, a large shepherd mix, to the Pomeranians. Barbara was always meticulous about her appearance, and you rarely saw her with her hair undone or her toe and finger nails well painted. She was a religious person and rarely missed mass on Sunday. She passed from this earth on October 25, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 10am, Rosary will begin at 9:30am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Golden.
