I was Barbara’s hairstylist. I was wondering why she hadn’t scheduled an appointment and discovered she had passed. We had such great conversation and I always loved having her in my chair. Every visit with Barbara was special and sweet. She will be greatly missed.

What a lovely lady Barbara was. I have many great memories she and I shared through the years. Barbara was the best union rep you could ask for. After she retired there was no question we would remain friends. The union conferences, the parties, bbq's, game nights, breakfasts, lunches...Just hanging out! I will miss you deeply. Hugs and kisses to Barbara's girls and families.😢

Barb was a friend in the bad times as well as the good.  She taught me many things while working with her as a union steward and then while working at UFCW Local 7.   She loved her family and my heart goes out to them.  

Grandma Barbara was always so welcoming, sweet and kind to everyone! She will be so deeply missed by so many people, especially our family ❤️  Rest In Peace Grandma Barbara!

I remember going with my dad to Stonewall to visit Uncle Jimmy, Aunt Stella and Barbara, Barbara came riding down the road on a beautiful palomino horse, she was dressed like a rodeo Queen, I was so excited! Barbara was always happy and the life of the party, she will be missed.

My sincere condolences to Barbara's loving family.  I have many fun and loving memories of Barbara.  I especially enjoy the memory of Barbara and I selling fishing worms in Stonewall, when we were young, to the fisherman driving to Monument Lake.  Don't remember if we made any money.
We had lots of fun during our high school years and will always remember those days.   I will miss my dear friend forever.


I met Barbara in Oct, 1978, when I was hired at the Retail Clerks Union. We immediately became best friends and remained so until her passing.  Barbara was beautiful inside and out.  Barbara loved her members and her members loved her.  She was a shining example of what a Union Representative should be.  Barbara loved her daughters Julie , and Barbara Jean and all her grand kids.  She was so proud of her family.  She also loved her Mom Stella so much and was so happy to take care of her the last years of her life.  Barbara had so many friends that loved her and never met any body that knew her that didn’t consider her a friend.  I am surely going to miss my friend of 42 years .  My thoughts and prayers are with Julie and Jean and all the grandkids.  Love, John

Barbara and I went together for 18 years despite living 200 miles apart. She trusted me and I trusted her completely. We talked every night never questioning each other’s faithfulness. I miss her nightly  phone calls.  We always said “I love you” when we said good night. I miss her so much.

Barbara was fiercely dedicated to her family - especially her grandchildren.  She supported them in all their activities and sports and was extremely proud of them! She participated in anything she could with them and created lots of lasting memories which I am sure the kids will remember fondly.   She was taken too soon but will continue to cheer them on and celebrate milestones from above! 

Barbara was such a kind, sweet person and I was so happy to be able to see her and visit with her a while back after so many years. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I'm thinking of you Jean and Julie. Sending  love, light, peace & prayers to you both and your family. Losing a Mom is one of the most difficult things ever. I'm here for you both. Barbara was always the life of the party. Her laugh was so genuine and she was ready to join in on everything.  That's how I'll always remember her, laughing and enjoying life. My memories of the times we spent together will bring me comfort. I hope that yours will too. I wish I could be there with you, Jean & Julie. May the God of all comfort bring comfort to you now and in the future.
