Belinda Lee Diaz, age 56, of Morrison, Colorado passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020. Belinda was born September 19, 1963 in California to the late John and Mary Silva. Belinda was the 10th child of the Silva household.
Belinda spent most of her life in Southern California, raising her family, teaching her children the basic cooking skills such making tortillas, tamales, pozole, macaroni salad, fruit salad and Mexican cuisine. She threw her heart and soul into everything she touched and would do anything for her family including moving to Colorado. She wanted to be closer to the people she loved.
She loved music from the 70's, flowers, relaxing outdoors, "spooky" mystery and crime shows, Daytime TV, stimulating her mind, coffee in the morning, good morning texts or saying funny phrases, such as "mamas, papas, que nones, chanclas, sweets, ii yiyi."
Belinda is survived by her children, Tony (Liz) Diaz; Aaron (Ashley) Diaz; Melissa (Daniel) Shaw; Paula (Justin) Tellez; Audrey (Matt) Tellez; and Antoinette (Gilberto) Ortega; grandchildren Paulina Miller, Grace Diaz, McKenzie Shaw, Matthew Romero Jr, Gavin Diaz, Johnathan Romero, DJ Shaw, Hailey Diaz, Abigail Miller, Mia Ramirez, Brylan Shaw, Harper Diaz and Addilyn Ramirez; her siblings Larry Silva, Tina Salas, Eddie Silva, Sandey Wilson, and Danny Silva; and many nieces and nephews.
Belinda is preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Silva; siblings Linda Silva, Sam Silva, Bob Silva, Johnny Silva, and Dora Silva.
