Bernadette was born in Cork, Ireland on June 7, 1945. She worked for many years as an investigator for the US Government Office of Personnel Management. She enjoyed her later years of “retirement” doting on her 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 2 sons, Russell and Phillip Smith.
She is survived by her 2 adult children Michele Green (Rob) of Arvada and Paul Smith (Joey) of Greeley . Her greatest joy in life was her 4 grandchildren, Noah and Isaac Green, and Cameron and Keira Smith.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026 at 10:00 at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Bernadette will always be remembered for her deep love for her children and grandchildren, but above all else her unwavering faith - even in her own times of loss and grief. Our hearts are broken in her absence, but we find solace that she is forever united with those that have gone before us.
Isaiah 35:10 - "Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away".
