There were three meals on the table every day. Who can forget her famous bunny cake that showed up every Easter, a tradition the family carries on to this day. Betty was an excellent seamstress, making clothes for her daughters and even their Barbie Dolls. She sewed items for church bazaars like sock monkeys, Raggedy Ann and Andy Dolls, aprons, casserole carriers, etc. Betty had a real knack for ceramics which the family enjoys to this day. She was a busy, vibrant wife and mother who loved God, family and lived life to its fullness. Betty was a member of PEO for over 50 years, Chapters DN and ET.
