Betty was born on December 2, 1940 in Ainsworth, NE to Frank and Hazel Estabrook. She graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1958 and spent much of her professional life as a bookkeeper after moving to Denver, CO. Betty married Robert Edward Wrenfrow on November 6, 1970 and merged their families. Betty's children, Kevin and Rebecca, joined Robert's children, Bill, David, Judy, and Marjorie, in a bustling and full home. Betty raised all as her own as a loving and dedicated mother.
Betty's passion for service and maternal instincts did not stay at home. She loved helping people both through her church, Clear Creek Valley Baptist Church (now Clear Creek Church) and through her decades-long involvement in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and Rebekahs (IOOF). She prepared weekly community meals for those in need for over 20 years. She taught, bringing the word of God to numerous children at Sunday School during her service at Clear Creek. She served her community, organizing charity events and service projects through her work with the IOOF. She lived her life as a shining example of the tenants of the Rebekahs: Friendship, Love, and Truth.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Hazel, and her husband Robert. She is survived by her children, Bill, David, Judy, Kevin, Marjorie, and Rebecca, her sisters, Ruth Ann and Linda, as well as her grandchildren, Christopher, Joseph, Loren, Mark, Michelle, and Timothy, several great-grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews. Her memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Clear Creek Church in Wheat Ridge, CO at 9 a.m.
