Bobby, or Bob as most knew him, was born July 27th 1931, in Mankato, Kansas to Willis and Edna Moon. Bob grew up in a large family with 12 brothers and sisters. In 1948 he joined the United States Military where he proudly served as Corporal until 1951. After being discharged, Bob met Betty Herron - the two were married a short time later on November 7, 1953. In 1955 they welcomed their daughter Judy, followed by their son Mark in 1958.
Bob was a driven professional with an unmatched work ethic. He played a crucial role in building two successful companies in the construction industry, J-Mark Construction and American Pipeline.
Outside of work, Bob loved his family, friends, and his routine trips to the hill where he played the slots. His luck treated him to numerous hand pays over the years and even a few large jackpots. Bob was stubborn, generous, and funny; making all those around him laugh until his final day. Bob was loved by so many and will be deeply missed.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Willis and Edna Moon, wife Betty Moon, daughter Judy Nalow, brothers Freddy, Rick and Lonnie Moon, sisters Barbara Patterson and Marilyn Sickler. Bob is survived by his son Mark Moon (Kris), son-in-law Jim Nalow, brothers Willis(Nick) Moon, Larry and Lester Dean, sisters Vickey Atkinson, Pat Martinez, Martha Scott, Laura Fritz, grandchildren Jimmy, Brian, Shannon, Jon and seven great-grandchildren.
