So many memories and stories to tell from baking cookies to being on the farm. Calvin was funny, like to be silly, was always there when mom and dad needed him. They helped each other and had each others backs. He would chew gum with the wrapper on it, he would eat cookies that were as hard as rock, he play with us kids and be silly when he came over for a visit or to help dad. We love Calvin. There are so many good memories of him that will always be remembered. 

We will miss you Calvin may you rest in peace.

Great Opa, I would love to be able to give you a hug and tell you I love you one more time but I know that is not possible. When my grandfather took his last breath I forgot how to breathe, when he closed his eyes for the last time my vision became clouded, when his voice was no longer heard I forgot how to speak. I love you Opa, you will forever be missed

Doris and Family. We have some good times on our camping trips and other outing. Calvin was always ready with a laugh or whatever.He will be missed. Keeping you and family in out thought and prayers Mike and Jan

Oh my. Opa you are now gone. No words can express the loss.  As the oldest grandchild I was lucky to know you longer. What memories we have had from camping boating or just hanging out smoking a cigarette and oma yelling at us. You taught me how to time a car change the oil. The list of memories is long and great. You will truly be missed. Love your oldest grandchild Angie.
