

Camille was born on February 12th, 1947 in Pangbourne, England and enjoyed 76 years of life and love. Everyone who knew Camille will remember her selfless nature, her love of cooking, her fabulous fashion sense, and her warm kind heart. She had a true collector's heart and an incredible talent for sniffing out the best deals.
Camille came to the United States in 1975, briefly living in Massachusetts and New Mexico before calling colorful Colorado her home in the mid 1980's. She loved the sunshine and blue skies that living in Colorado provided and was proud to become a United States citizen on February 11th, 2000.
On June 26th, 1989 Camille married the love of her life, Harold "Pete" Praznik. He is the one who properly nicknamed her "The Dragon" in reflection of her impressive ferocity. They began their life together in Denver, Colorado and enjoyed getting to be part of their local community. They enjoyed travel and took advantage of the many opportunities that Military life provided. Road trips and visits to antique stores, consignment stores, estate sales, garage sales, and thrift stores were often on their schedule.
Camille enjoyed her trips traveling to Hawaii, England, France, South Korea, Germany, Croatia, Czech
Republic, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Austria, and Italy.
Camille is survived by her loving husband, Harold, her sons Stephen, Martin, and Jason, as well as six grandchildren: Thomas, Nicola, Jillian, Ian, Sydney, and Chase.
Funeral services will be held at Fort Logan on the 15th of November, 2023 at 12:30 PM, leaving from staging area A. Chaplain (Colonel) Andy Meverden will officiate and the celebration of life will be held at the American Legion post 178 following the internment.
