Carl Allen Scott

Devoted son and loyal Moose Lodge member Carl Allen Scott passed away May 2nd 2023 at the age of 62. Our Batman had fought many battles with his health but ultimately he was defeated by cancer. Credit Card Carl lived by the motto “work hard, play harder”. When he was a young man you could find him cutting meat at the Knox Court Supermarket or working security during the day and cruising around on his motorcycle at night. Later in life, after a stroke in which he deemed himself a “quadalpregic”, Carl settled down to take care of his mother. This rolling stone would gather no moss and most nights he could be found at the Denver Moose Lodge enjoying a drink or ten with his good friends there and his mother as his sidekick.

Carl is survived by his mother, June Scott; his only surviving sister Beth Sjulstad- Wolter, and six nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sisters Linda Rodriguez and Donna Sjulstad. His smile and rambunctious attitude will be missed by his family, his community, and his dear friends at the Lodge.

Services will be held May 19th, 2023 at Cornerstone Baptist Church at 2pm and followed by a reception at the Denver Moose Lodge, 4688 W Alameda Ave, Denver, CO 80219
