Carol Kay Collins went home to be with her Lord and Saviour April 17, 2020. She was born to Theodore and Martha Bennett in Denver, Colorado on April 3, 1944. She was raised in Englewood, Colorado and attended Englewood Sr. High School. Carol was also raised in Englewood Baptist Church and was a current member.
Her life was her two children whom she adored and would do anything for, she also adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. When she was younger she took up painting and loved making ceramic crafts, her favorite were angels.
Carol was a devoted single mother of two, raising them on faith with Christ while working at Craig Hospital for over thirty years. When she retired she cared for her mother until the Lord called her home.
Carol's uniqueness was her contagious laugh, those who knew her "always" made a comment about her wonderful laugh. Even when she was sick she had a high spirit, always trying to crack a joke about her condition. Carol also enjoyed the many dogs and cats that she owned throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Martha Bennett and her sister Mary Croft, just four days prior.
Carol will be dearly missed by her daughter Tracy (Steve) McMorrine; son William "Shawn" (Murreline) Collins; brother Don (Judy) Bennett; grandchildren: Crystal (Leonard) Hill, Steven (Lori) McMorrine Jr., Jennifer (Joshua) Griffin and Hillary Williams; great grandchildren: Gemalynne & Tessa McMorrine, Azzaline McMillian & Zoey Williams, Blake & Nicole Griffin and Aubree & Nolas Hill and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends whom she loved dearly.
