Carol passed away peacefully in her sleep at her son’s house, where she resided, on the morning of May 20th, 2026.
She was courageously living with kidney failure for the past few years and then succumbed to congestive heart failure.
Carol was preceded by her Father John Stuart, Mother Lucille Stuart, Brother Leo Stuart, Sister Patricia Bird, Son John Maes, and Niece Rosemary Cambray.
She is survived by her 3 sons; Douglas E. Maes (Kyla), Russell T. Rohrer Jr (Deidre), and Robert S. Rohrer (April Curdy), niece Marcelle Bird. She had 11 grandchildren; Charlie Pionke, Jonathon Pionke, Shereese Maes, Douglas Maes, Jacob Maes, Cassandra Maes, Terrah Rohrer, Rachelle Rohrer, Daniel Curdy, Taylor Curdy, Casey Rohrer, She also had 10 great-grandchildren, Ezekial Pionke, Aiden Pionke, Layla Pionke, Killian Mitchell, Lyric Larson, Avery Maes, Axel Kania, Odin Kania, Neveah Kania, and Bobby Rohrer.
A celebration of life ceremony is forthcoming and will be announced shortly.
