Carole Kathleen Hooper

Carole Kathleen Hooper 92 of Northglenn Colorado passed away peacefully on February 19 2025. She was born on February 21 1932 to Leo and Grace Rushenberg. She was the middle of three siblings and grew up in Irwin Iowa.

After graduating from Defiance High school, Carole attended business classes in Omaha Nebraska. She became an executive secretary for many years and retired from Excel Energy.

Carole loved spending time with family which included travel,shopping and wonderful meals. She also enjoyed gardening and scrapbooking. Carole was very active at her church Immaculate Heart of Mary in Northglenn where she volunteered for the sprouts program for youths and also the food bank.

Carole's husband Dick Hooper passed away on March 18 2012. Together they had a blended family. She was mother to Steve (Theresa) Coon, Cheryl (Michael) Stabler, and Jeannine Meeks. She was stepmother to Don Hooper, Ron (Cathy) Hooper and Sami Hooper Coubrough (Robin). Carole was grandmother to Sean (Kiley) Coon, Ryan (Betsy) Coon, Aaron (Kendall) Coon, Travis Stabler, Michaila Stabler, Josh (Kathy) Hooper, Bryon Hooper, and Kevin (Sarah) Hooper. She is a great grandmother to 15 children.

There will be a celebration of life for Carole on June 21st at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Northglenn from 11:00-3:00.
