Carolyn Sidwell died 7/27/2022 at the age of 81 from the aftereffects of multiple falls. She was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN by Myron and Pauline Dinius. She graduated from Purdue University in 1963 with a BS in Home Economics (Interior Design) . She was surrounded by family and many friends during the 10-12 years she suffered from Alzheimer's. She was greatly loved and respected by all who were fortunate enough to know her and she tried to the very end to know and be present with all who visited her.
She was a talented teacher, artist, interior designer and lover of all art forms that required creativity and the use of her hands. She was a devout Christian which gave her the courage as a young wife and mother to go on after the death of her first son. She mentored many women in their faith journey by walking alongside them and encouraging them as well.
She is survived by her husband Steven, a sister Charlotte of Wilmington, DE and her family, daughter Amy and husband Jong Khil, son Joshua and wife Sarah and grandchildren Hannah, Ayden, Sophia, and Col and numerous cousins and their families.
