Charles Anthony Lujan

Charles (Chuck) Anthony Lujan, beloved husband, father, stepfather, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, in Denver, Colorado. He was born on August 3, 1953, in Denver, Colorado to the late John (Popo) and Julia (Judy) Lujan.

Chuck spent his early years in Saguache, Colorado and then moved to Denver, Colorado, where he attended North High School and met his first wife Mary. They went on to have two daughter’s Charmaine and Lisa. He later met his wife Becky and her two sons Mario and Mano. They were married on December 31, 1980, in Denver, CO. and spent over 44 years together where they built a good life and a loving family.

Chuck had a lifelong career working as a roofer and eventually moved on to owning his company Charles Lujan Roofing Co. for over 30 years. He met many people over the years and treated his employees like family, some of whom were. He was proud of his successful business and was one of his biggest accomplishments in life.

Family and friends were extremely important in his life. He enjoyed camping trips throughout Colorado, where he was always on the lookout for the best river fishing and building a nice camp fire to cook over. He also enjoyed the occasional gambling trip to Blackhawk where he always had a strategy of how to win the “Big One”. Chuck always looked forward to family gatherings, he loved being surrounded by his family, laughing and telling stories of his life.

Chuck is survived by his loving family that includes his devoted wife, Rebbecca (Becky) Lujan; loving children, Charmaine Holter (David) of Thornton, CO; Lisa Valdez (Steve) of Thornton, CO and Mario Padilla (Magdelena) of Aurora, CO; precious grandchildren, Felisha, Samantha, Savanna, Amanda, David III, Ava, Rebecca, Alan, Matthew, Silana, Sade, Esai, Logan, Destiny, Ellie and Evan and great grandchildren Mateo, Everett and Aria; siblings, Kay (Doug), John Norman (April) and Sherri; as well as many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his son Mano Padilla.
