Charles Albert Malone was born on December 28, 1941, in Denver, Colorado. He was a man of immense strength, unwavering determination, and steadfast dedication. Above all, he walked closely with God, using His Word as his constant compass. Chuck was a faithful servant of the Lord whose quiet spirit, enduring faith, and loving heart touched everyone who knew him.
Chuck's remarkable strength was forged through tremendous hardship. As a young child, he contracted polio during the height of the epidemic in the 1940s. He was among the fewer than one percent of those affected who developed paralytic polio. Much of his childhood was spent in a wheelchair, and he endured numerous surgeries throughout his life. Despite chronic pain and physical challenges, he refused to let his circumstances define him.
He built a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Carol, sharing 59 wonderful years of marriage. Together they raised four children, creating a home filled with love, laughter, faith, and activity. Chuck stood as a man of unwavering character and conviction, working tirelessly to provide for his family and ensuring they never went without.
Chuck began his career operating a commercial printing press, physically demanding work that was especially difficult on his post-polio body. Through perseverance and a willingness to adapt, he transitioned into graphic arts, where he spent the remainder of his career embracing the ever-changing world of technology.
A lifelong animal lover, Chuck always made room in the family home for dogs and cats. Somehow, despite the expense, he also fulfilled his children's dreams by providing horses for each of them. Chuck and Carol devoted countless hours supporting their children's interests, enthusiastically participating in every club, team, and activity they chose.
Though naturally quiet and stoic, Chuck possessed a deeply compassionate heart. His greatest joy was his family. He was immensely proud of his children, their spouses, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren. He and Carol treasured every opportunity to visit them, attend their events, and celebrate their accomplishments.
On June 14, 2026, Charles Albert Malone went home to be with his Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers, and his beloved daughter, Stacy Lynn Osmus.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Carol Malone; his children, Christina (Kevin) Warren, Tamara (Ron) Pearce, and Michael (Jennifer) Malone; his grandchildren, Kendra (James) Holmes, Collin Warren, Wyatt Pearce, Stephan Gates, Sean (Holly) Gates, Madison Malone, and Mitchell Malone; and his great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Holmes, Bailey Holmes, Mackenzie Holmes, Dakota Gillespie, Aaron Gillespie, and Lillian Gates.
Chuck leaves behind a legacy of faith, perseverance, humility, and unconditional love. While his family will miss him deeply, they find comfort in knowing he is finally free from pain and resting peacefully in the presence of his Lord.
Services will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, on July 16, 2026. Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 11:00 am. The Funeral Service will start at 11:00 am followed by a Committal Service at 12:00 pm. Guests are invited to return to the Serenity Pointe Chapel for a reception following the committal.
