

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Ross Westley, who died peacefully on November 11, 2025 at the age of 89 years. Born in Skippack Pennsylvania, he was a devoted husband, loving father, caring physician, an adored grandpa, cherished member of his church, and a respected member of the Colorado running community.
Charles Ross Westley practiced medicine for nearly 60 years, and he was known for his attentive care and uncanny way of putting patients at ease. Ross was a retired 26 year veteran with the United States Public Health Service which is a division of the Navy. He was deeply committed to his family and his wife, living a life of kindness and integrity. He loved his church community and participated in weekly Community Bible Study. He was an active member of the Colorado Masters Running Association and completed over 25 marathons and countless numbers of other races.
Ross is survived by his wife, Mary Westley; his daughters and their husbands, Karen Chase and Tim Chase, Lisa Grooms and Chris Grooms, and Amy McLean and Brad McLean; his sister Arlene Shelly; his niece Suzanne Ezeland; his grandchildren Michael Grooms, Samuel Grooms, Lauren McLean, Ben McLean; his grandchildren’s wives, Marisa and Kayla and one great grandson Sawyer Grooms.
A memorial service will be held at Faith Church in Arvada on November 16th at 2 pm.
