In Aspen, five weeks ago, your/our biscuits were sleeping. We had facetimed earlier in the day. Your bride, Alexandra, is the strongest woman I know. You and Aly chose each other perfectly. I love the life and family that you chose. I promise to do my very best, with them, in your honor, until I see you again. I miss you and love you. Mama

I know Chris from coming to kids club at the gym. That man can work out lol and from the first time I met him I knew he was an amazing father. He was such a respectful man. He has the most adorable kids ever and they adored him and his wife. I will be praying for your family. Let me know if I can help with anything at all.

I trained Chris when he started with Smith and Nephew and through his career with our organization. I was happy and proud to see him become a Field Sales Trainer because I knew what an impact he would leave on those who were lucky enough to work with him. My favorite memories of Chris are just sitting next to him on the bus to an event or at a dinner and hearing him talk about his family and his kids. He loved being a dad so much. His sense of humor was off the charts as well. I remember running a virtual workshop for his team and in the middle of Chris's presentation, his dog came into the room, had an accident and then peaced out. Chris, like the true professional he was said "well that just happened" and continued with his presentation. Chris was the total package. Beautiful inside and out. Humble, brave, funny, caring and compassionate. We are all so lucky to have lived in his orbit. He's gone way too soon and will be missed by so many including everyone in his Smith and Nephew family.

Chris married my niece, Alexandra. They were to celebrate their wedding anniversary on September 27, 2021. I attended their wedding in the Highlands, NC.. It was a beautiful wedding but I was most Impressed by the words said during the ceremony. I knew this was a marriage from God. Chris was the most loving man to Aly and to his children. I had never seen a man so attentive to his family! We all loved him and we will all miss him.

God has a plan for all of us . We don’t understand why Chris was taken from us so soon, from his sweet wife and angelic children , but we trust Him . Pray for Aly, their children, Charlotte, Claire and Christopher , Aly’s Mother, Bonnie and Father Ron Farrell, her brother, Richard Farrell. Chris’s Mother, Mary Beth Truss, and brothers Cameron and Conner and for all of us that loved him.♥️

I only met Chris once, in Colorado, where we had a casual conversation in the sunshine as he held and played with his son while waiting for his wife and daughters. It didn't take long to be impressed! A giant, bearded athlete of a man, I was struck at how nice he was, and immediately noticed how tender he was with his son. Soon his wife and equally angelic little daughters arrived. The girls were tippy toe fluttering in the flowerbeds near where we stood like towheaded butterflies. We bid adieu as they all departed for a stroll, and as they walked away, I saw a man and a family already experiencing heaven, truly.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences at this devastating time. May each of you have the strength to bear his absence, and find solace in the many memories you shared and in the love that will continually manifest in the personalities and smiles and lives of those precious kids, and all the family gathered around you now.

I taught Chris and all of his brothers when they were at St. Jude. Chris lit up the room back then at fourteen. He was kind, funny, quiet at times… Then, I ran into him again at a gym about a year ago in Cumming. He was everything I knew he’d become. He had grown into an incredible, successful man with a beautiful family. His family is so special and his mother was and is a saint on Earth. May God protect you and all who love you, Chris.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Chris the last 6 years. He wouldn’t hesitate to go out of his way to help you without expectations of anything in return and was always so positive. A devoted husband and father who will be sorely missed by all.
