CLAUDIA “SUE” HUNTER, 85 of Arvada. Sue is survived by her husband, Wilson, daughters Karen (John) Zinanti and Julie (Chris) Bowman, her three grandchildren, Daniel, Melissa, and Bailee. Also survived by her sister Glenita (Donald) Emarine, niece Sandra (David) Everett, nephew Christopher (Stephanie) Hunter, Grand Nephews, Derek, Caleb, Noah, and Oliver, Grand Niece Tessa, as well as Great Grand Niece Louisa. Sue was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 20, 1936 and passed away on October 24, 2021 after battling Alzheimer’s. She graduated from Denver North High School in 1954 and married Wilson in 1957. Sue was a school secretary with Jefferson County Public Schools at Campbell Elementary and Stott Elementary in Arvada. She loved traveling and spending time with her family after retirement. Memorial Service followed by interment Tuesday, November 2, 2021 Two o’clock in the afternoon at Crown Hill Cemetery – Tower of Memories, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, The Rocky Mountain Conservancy or another charity of choice in Sue’s memory.
