Clyde spent his very early years growing up in Granby, Firestone and then spent the majority of his time as a young man in Commerce City where he finished his schooling. He became highly skilled in sandblasting and at a very young age, started his own business, the Denver Sandblasting company. With his strong work ethic and his charismatic personality, his business was successful. He loved the people he did work for and obtained many loyal customers thereby earning for himself an outstanding reputation for business.

With his love for horses and country living, he found a new hobby, team roping. That became a passion that he participated in for as long as he could. He had several roping partners and won many ropings with titles and prizes.
Clyde found the Lord Jesus Christ in December 1970 and his life wasn’t the same since. His love and passion for Jesus burned brightly. He lead many bible studies, men’s accountability groups and taught evangelism classes. He founded, built and pastored a church in Brighton, Colorado and he served on mission trips overseas. His love for all people was exemplified by preaching and ministering to the homeless at the Denver Rescue mission for 25 years.
