Born in the small town of Wilson, Oklahoma, on October 15, 1927, she grew up with a resilient spirit that would define her nearly century-long journey. She was an avid traveler, spending any time she could exploring all corners of the globe.
Colleen devoted her life to the Lord with a dedication that never wavered. Her devotion to Applewood Baptist Church was a defining thread of her life, woven through decades of Sunday school lessons and community outreach. Her faith was not just a Sunday tradition; it was the compass that guided her through 98 years of life.
She is survived by her sons Craig Smith (Kathy) and Robert Smith (Laura), her grandchildren Jasper Simkowski, Jason Smith (Amy), Michael Smith, Stephanie Bunting (Josh), Rachel Smith, and her great grandchildren, Danny, Alex, Kevin, Hendrix, Brooklyn, Cooper, and Halle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Smith, daughter, Stephanie Barclay and grandson Darren Simkowski.
