Colleen Gayle Vander Hoek, 79, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2024. Colleen was born to Arlie and Hoda (Jackson) Gregg on May 16, 1945 near Garden City, Missouri. She married Cornelius (Bud) Vander Hoek on April 16, 1968 at Englewood Christian Church.
Colleen's family moved to Denver when she was young and she graduated in 1963 from Littleton High School. When she was young she enjoyed doing crafts. Then she learned to play the piano and music became her passion. She taught piano lessons for many years and performed in many piano recitals. She then went on to play guitar, violin, ukulele, drums, xylophone and clarinet. She also enjoyed camping with Bud; she would go hiking with friends or read a good book while Bud would go fishing.
Colleen will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a multitude of dear friends.
