Born on November 14, 1958, Dale was someone who loved enjoying life and spending time with the people he cared about most. He loved fine art, wine tastings, racing, spending time at the lake, and watching his grandkids play in their sporting events — something he truly enjoyed and rarely wanted to miss. He was a huge Denver Broncos fan and loved getting out on the golf course whenever he had the chance.
Dale took an immense amount of pride in owning his own business specializing in commercial pool design and builds. He worked hard to create a company that was well respected in the industry and was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and impeccable craftsmanship. Dale took an immense amount of pride in every pool completed, creating a beautiful finished product for others to enjoy.
Dale is survived by his son, Joshua Sprague; his daughters, Ashley Fahrenbach and Coryn Nelson and her husband, Joel Nelson; his grandchildren, JJ Nelson, Jensyn Nelson, Lincoln Nelson, and Eve Nelson; his mother, Shirley Sprague; his sister, Diane Hartney; and his brother, Daryl Sprague. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.
Visitation hours will be held on May 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Funeral Home.
Dale will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor, his fun spirit, and his ability to always make people laugh while laughing right alongside them. He will also be remembered for the love he had for his family and grandchildren, always showing up proudly to support them, as well as for his semi-decent golf game.
