The first time I met Dan and Virginia was when Joe and I and family visited them in Escondido. They were so warm and welcoming. Dan loved to show us the yard he worked so hard to make beautiful and it truly was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, telling stories....laughing. Good memories. Peace be with you Uncle Dan.

My most vivid memories are of uncle Dan at their home on Harlan Street and in Escondido. He loved his yard and gardens so much and often when we visited he and Virginia over the years he would be just finishing up some pruning or mowing, sweaty and absolutely content with the results of his handiwork. He loved so much planting and helping things grow and he was very good at it. When Jan and our family visited Escondido we always enjoyed the fruits of his labor as we would sit on the deck or in the family room and have coffee or tea and look out over the orchard and garden. The birds would be singing, the cats watching and all of us would truly relax and enjoy each other's company. The years since Escondido have also been warm and loving sitting around the table and talking about family and the loved ones who have preceded us and how much we miss them. Uncle Dan is now with them and is loved and missed. Jan and I will always remember Uncle Dan fondly as will the rest of the Narracci family. Most of us got to be with him at a 65th birthday party at Jon and Kacey's home. How fortunate so many of us got to be there and enjoy his company.
