Danny was my best friend in grade school. I was at his house constantly. I remember Karen bringing Tiffany home, playing with Corey next door. He reached out to me months before his passing telling all about his service and excited that I had become a nurse and he was looking into doing that as well. I heard from his passing from a longtime friend Emily. I love you brother, thank you for all the great memories. You were everything I needed when I was going through cancer as a kid. I miss you and think about you constantly. I know that we lost touch years ago, but I know I’ll see you again. You’ll be proud of what I’ve done lately. Good journey my friend. Love you forever.

Danny and I worked together for the better part of 2008 into 2009 until i deployed with 2/3 to afghan. He was my roommate and a close friend.. His absense is felt by many and my heart has been heavy.. I miss you DJ

I can still remember the first time I layed eyes on you at NJ Pool.  You were 4 years old and the cutest thing I had ever seen.  We grew to be great friends over the years and I am deeply, deeply saddened by your passing.  I will always be your "big sister".  Love and peace, "little bro"

I work at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune and know how acutely we are feeling the pain of this loss. My daughter is a Navy corpsman who served in Afghanistan, and I am also the mother of two adult sons. Although I cannot possibly understand how difficult this must be for all of you, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

December 19, 2010    I just learned about Daniel and Iam sorry for your loss, a great kid of whom Iam sure became a great man in life. I am very saddened to learn of Daniel's passing.  I was a friend of his grandfather's and always wished I had an opportunity to get to know him better.  The few times that I did meet Daniel, I always really liked him.  My condolences to his family.

Danny will always have a special place in our hearts for being such a good friend to our daughter, Beth. He was a gentleman and very polite young man. He will be greatly missed. We were blessed to know him.
