Carol and I enjoyed serving with Dave and Muriel during the summers we served at Mt. Elim.  They served on staff at Denver Seminary during the years I attended.  Dave and Muriel were co-founders of United Indian Missions and we have served with UIM for 28 years.

I also have lots of memories of Pastor David from when I was a child in church in Craig.  May God bless your family!

I became a follower of Christ at 17 years old when Pastor Chambers shared the gospel with me.  What a wonderful man & great example of Christ. He married Len & I and continued to be an important part of our lives. I have never met a more gentle, loving, Godly man. I can still hear him singing Majesty! Our prayers & love for Muriel, Dwight & Granddaughter.

Pastor Chambers was such a blessing to my life! And no one could sing like him!

We first met David while camping in the wilderness of South Fork Campground, east of Meeker in the White River National Forest in 1978. He invited us then to First Baptist Church of Criag, Colorado, and we continued there after our first visit till we moved home to Colorado Springs, nearly eight years later. Though he left as pastor there, we stayed in touch and felt he was was used by the Lord to bless our family. The world has lost a wonderful man, but the Lord has gained a grand and humble saint. God bless you, Muriel and David ... our prayers for your comfort.

So many memories!  All the way from our first meeting in 1976, when you candidated here in Craig and had dinner at our tiny home.  We've had so many wonderful conversations since then.  We will miss you, Dave, but rejoice that you are running free in Heaven, with the hindrances of this earth left far behind.  What a reunion we'll have one of these days!
